"I am happy" is an action- & narrative-packed roguelike game which takes place within the mind of a girl, who is fighting with her inner demons created by toxic relationships, self-doubt and the ghosts of the past. Throughout the game you shall dive into her psyche, figure out her troubles and hopefully help her overcome her negative emotions and mental issues.

Finished the game, continued playing, enemies having a blue halo. I ended up in a puzzle room with the sentences 'All my dreams' and 'All is okay'. However, my mirrored self did not move together with me this time so I couldn't finish the room and ended up locked. It could be a nice metaphor, being locked in my own thoughts, but I guess it's a bug?

Hello there, and as Salomes_Crescent has said, thank you for playing our game and reporting bugs to us; it's immensely appreciated.

What you have run into is sadly a bug, as we have yet had the time to make sure that puzzles work after a completed run (it simply runs out of word combinations at a point). We will make sure to fix this in an upcoming build!

We have meanwhile uploaded a new build that tries to address some of the other bugs mentioned, including:

1. It should be substantially harder to get enemies stuck in walls (hopefully impossible).
2. Getting stuck in a hole should also be more difficult (this is however not yet completely fixed).
3. Player movement and fire rate have been updated to feel more responsive. 
4. Miscellaneous fixes (incorrect dialogue, misplaced colliders, and so forth).

We will make a new post when we once again update the game. Again, thank you for the time you have taken to report these bugs to us.

Pretty good game! Filled in your Google Docs form with a lot of feedback, but summarized: Love the gameplay, theme and music, don't like the sluggish feel the game has to it.

Oh, btw, an option to show the full map so far would be nice!

Found another bug. I shifted myself into a hole, wanting to shift over it, and now I am stuck in it :-( Have to restart the whole adventure again, probably.

Two additional bugs. Sometimes when shooting an enemy with multiple bullets the game speed / framerate drops dramatically, until that enemy (or another enemy) is killed and disappears. The second bug is that I had the 'leatherstep' upgrade and the +3 Movement speed indicator remained stuck on the screen.

Bug also reported in the Doc, but whenever an enemy gets stuck in the wall, especially when it's on an island, you sometimes cannot kill it anymore, as the bullets hit the wall before reaching the enemy. This really sucks, because you can't progress anymore and have to reset the game. Sorry to say these kinda bugs greatly decrease the joy of playing (and finishing) your game :-(

Thanks for all the bug reports, it is unfortunate that your gameplay experience got negatively influenced by the encountered bugs. These are definitely some bugs we have to focus on fixing.
